FEBRUARY HOMESCHOOL DAYS: “Modern Policy, Historic Roots”
In our February Homeschool Days program, students will understand modern politics and foreign policy through a historical lens. Following the lesson, students will review primary sources like the Monroe Doctrine and Roosevelt Corollary, and complete worksheets relating to the subject matter. This program is recommended for students ages 10-18. Students will learn: what a primary source is and how to identify and locate them, how to compare and contrast the interests of the United States between the early 1800s and today, and how to consider opposing viewpoints to the policies stated in the documents.
“Homeschool Days – Modern Policy, Historic Roots,” will take place on February 27, 2026, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on the grounds of the John Jay French Museum. The session costs $5.00 per student and includes a history lesson and related activity. Please complete your form and payment below. Spots are limited!
