Dr. William Seale Tree Dedication

Join us Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 11 a. m. to dedicate a magnolia tree on the grounds of the John J. French Museum in honor of the life and legacy of Dr. William Seale. William Seale, Ph.D., was an American historian and preservationist. A native of Beaumont, Dr. Seale completed the historical research that led to the founding of the Beaumont Heritage Society and the John J. French Museum. His scholarship and service to preservation and restoration brought awareness to the value of preserving historic buildings for future generations.
Speakers include Judith Linsley and Will Seale. A small exhibit featuring items from Dr. Seale’s life and work will be on display inside Heritage Hall for two weeks following the dedication.
