On Saturday, October 15th, the Beaumont Heritage Society is hosting our annual “Pumpkin Walk” on the grounds of the historic John Jay French Museum from 6 pm – 9 pm. Use your creativity to decorate or carve a pumpkin and enter it in our contest! The “Best” pumpkin in several categories will be selected by ballot and prizes will be awarded, so gather your friends and family to come vote on your favorites! This event will also include a “haunted” tour of the 1845 French home with costumed actors portraying departed French family members, a hay ride, and a pumpkin craft for the kids. Don’t miss it!

Entrants may decorate their pumpkin as they so choose for the contest.
Pumpkins must be dropped off at the Beaumont Heritage Society Office (3025 French Rd.) on
Thursday, October 13th, from 9-6pm, Friday, October 14th, from 10-4pm and Saturday, October 15th, from 10-12pm. All entries must on site by Saturday, October 15th by 12pm.
All submissions must be created from original content. Please do not submit copyrighted, traced, licensed or published works of art. These entries will not be considered.
The Beaumont Heritage Society reserves the right to deny exhibition privileges to any entry considered to be offensive or done in poor taste.
Pumpkins will be judged by the visiting public of the Pumpkin Walk by popular vote. Categories for judging include Scariest Pumpkin, Best Carved, Funniest Pumpkin, Most Creative, and Best Overall.
Entries will be divided into two divisions: Adult and Children (12 and under).
By entering the contest, entrants accept and agree to these rules and the prize judging process, which shall be final. Entrants also agree to allow the Beaumont Heritage Society to use images of the pumpkins for promotional purposes.
Pumpkins may be picked up between 9-9:30 pm on the night of the Pumpkin Walk.
Pumpkins not picked up by 9:30 pm October 15th, become the property of the Beaumont Heritage Society. Winning pumpkins may be used for additional media purposes.
