SUMMARY:Heritage Happy Hour at Collier's Ferry Park (Reservations Required)
DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us Thursday\, September 19th for a special format Heritage Happy Hour aboard the Ivory Bill with Neches River Adventures! \nThe Ivory Bill is a U.S. Coast Guard-inspected 45-ft. covered pontoon boat operated by the Big Thicket Association.  This excursion will take you on the open waters of the Neches River and into the Big Thicket National Preserve while you learn more about the history of Collier’s Ferry Park and the Neches River. \nOur complimentary drinks from Giglio Distributing will only be served aboard the Ivory Bill. Boat tours will take place in four\, thirty-minute time slots at 5:30 p.m.\, 6:00 p.m.\, 6:30 p.m.\, and 7:00 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour’s start time to Collier’s Ferry Park at 5390 Pine St. Beaumont\, TX 77703. Tours are limited to 25 people per tour. Please reserve a timeslot here or using the link below. Payments for tours are made upon arrival for non-members. \nAdmission:\n– Free for all Beaumont Heritage Society members\n– $10 for all non-BHS members 21+ \nHeritage Happy Hour is an ongoing outreach program typically held every other month\, with each event highlighting a historical landmark\, time\, exhibit\, or organization\, featuring complimentary craft beer provided by Giglio Distributing Co. (wine and non-alcoholic beverages also available). We believe that by promoting and sharing our local history and its historical significance in a fun and social way\, we can also share and promote the efforts to preserve Beaumont’s historical landscape.
