AUGUST HOMESCHOOL DAYS: “Historical Research”
In our August Homeschool Days program, students will learn how to begin conducting historical research, and choose from several unidentified artifacts in the Beaumont Heritage Society’s collection. Following the lesson, students will research their chosen objects, and compile their research into an artifact label. This lesson will encourage students to think critically, read carefully, and work together to uncover history.
“Homeschool Days – Historical Research” will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on the grounds of the John Jay French Museum. The session costs $5.00 per student and includes a history lesson and related activity. To register, please complete your form and payment below. This program is recommended for students ages 12+, but all ages (even adults) are welcome!
