Join us at Beaumont’s historic Byzantine Revival Temple Emanuel, designed by Albert S. Gottleib in the 1920s, for our next Heritage Happy Hour on August 23rd! The Temple is steeped in religious history where you will view the six spectacular 6′ x 15′ stained glass windows, designed by the noted Jewish artist Ze’ev Raban, that represent a significant event in the life of the principal prophets of Judaism; Jeremiah, Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Moses and Ezekial. Do NOT miss this one! Heritage Happy Hour is always FREE to members of the Beaumont Heritage Society and $10 for non-members 21+.
Heritage Happy Hour is an on-going partnership between the Beaumont Heritage Society and Giglio Distributing Co. typically held every other month, with each event highlighting an historical landmark, time, or exhibit, as well as a craft beer or brewery (wine and non-alcoholic beverages also available). We believe that by promoting and sharing our local history and its historical significance in a fun and social way, we can also share and promote the efforts to preserve Beaumont’s historical landscape. Join the Beaumont Heritage Society today and help us make a difference!
